Chart auditing for denied services with recommendations for re-submission to have claims paid. Work with billing agency regarding denials to improve billing practices and reduce frequency of denials.
-Onsite training program: To be performed at the client’s business site
Full day training sessions for therapists and clerical/office staff (additional days as required)
Therapist training to include: EMR software documentation training, Medicare/insurance documentation training, coding and billing education, reimbursement optimization, Medicare/Insurance rules and regulations
Clerical/office staff training to include: Software education for entering all patient/practice information, use of scheduling system, tracking and reports education, management of coding/billing issues.
-Offsite training program: To be performed via phone/Skype training and video program
Provide full day or individual (as needed) phone/Skype training for documentation and EMR systems to include all aspects of onsite training program as noted above.
Provide training video for use of EMR system
-Therapy Documentation Training Manuals
Provide training manuals for use of EMR Systems (for therapists and for office/clerical staff) including full written detailed instruction in use of EMR Systems. Provided in written form as well as electronic formats for staff reference.
-Follow up Auditing Service
Chart auditing for each therapist on staff following initial training/use of EMR system to evaluate proper documentation and insurance compliance.
Develop all policies and procedures dealing policies of the business and procedures to be performed by the practice to be in compliance with State/Federal regulations.
Includes Medicare guidelines, compliance and forms to be utilized by the business.
Provided in form of manual and electronic format.
Research and develop a payer strategy plan for insurance company participation, fee determination and practice plan development.
